Umanori Hakama are known as divided hakama, or Horse-Riding Hakama, because they have a distinctive split that forms individual pants legs. The Hakama have 7 pleats, 2 in the back and 5 in the front. They are typically worn with a matching or complementary Hakamashita. These Hakama Inspirations are simplified to accommodate wearers of different experience levels.
