The Clothing above is associated with the Japanese Shinto Priestess or Shamens known as Miko. The White kosode (top) represent purity. The slits in the sleeves are a mixture of handwork and machine work. I created the template for the slits. This piece is inspired by the anime representation of the shrine priestesses found in Japanese animation over the years from Inuyasha to Cardcaptora Sakura .
